    Richest People in the Philippines (July 2013)

    Who are the richest people in the Philippines today? Forbes magazine has just released the top 50 richest Filipinos based their net worth calculated as of July 2013. Henry Sy of SM group is still the richest person in the Philippines for a six straight years now with a net worth of $12 billion. Manuel V. Pangilinan of PLDT is only at no. 50 with a net worth of $105 M. It seems that Mr. Edgar Sia, the founder of Mang Inasal is still the youngest in the list at age 36, with a net worth of $210 M (he is the 39th richest person in the list). Former Senator Manuel Villar joins the 17 Filipino billionaires (in terms of USD). Villar is at no. 16 with a $1.05 billion net worth.
