Legislators who received the highest amount of Pork Barrel

According to the special audit report by the Commission on Audit (COA) on the amount of PDAF (Priority Development Assistance Fund) or Pork Barrel allocated to lawmakers (congressmen and senators) from 2007 to 2009, the following are the top 5 legislators who have received the highest amount of Pork Barrel on that period:

    1. Former Congressman Manuel "Way Kurat" Zamora - P3 billion
    2. Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile - P904.5 million
    3. Senator Juan Edgardo Angara - P862.645 million
    4. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. - P853 million
    5. Jinggoy Estrada - P825.150 million

However, former Compostela Valley Congressman and now Vice-Governor Manuel Zamora, who topped the list, denied that he got that amount of money and said that it is impossible that he received P3 billion Pork Barrel.

A deeper investigation may be needed to further extract the truth I think.

There is a clerical error with the alleged 3 Billion pork barrel received by Zamora. DBM to admit 'clerical error' over Rep. 'Way Kurat' Zamora's bloated PDAF. With this error, the credibility of the entire audited reports of COA may be in question.
